I have always been fascinated by the Iced Earth logo. But, I've noticed a few "errors" in the logo that just don't seem right to me. And the only reason why I think they are errors [that I can think of] is because I'm an artist and this stuff drives me nuts.

Look at the picture below to see what I mean.

And it's like this on EVERY album cover except the original S/T cover. Has anyone else noticed/is anyone else just a bit bothered by this?

Yes, it is true Schaffer created the logo for The Rose/Purgatory/Iced Earth in middle school, I just thought they may make it "different" I guess.

Well at least it's a good logo, right? I mean it could be worse...
Schaffer is an artist as well. I even heard he's coming out with his own Set Abominae graphic novel.

Oh by all means don't get me wrong. The logo is by far my favorite metal logo of all time. It even beats the badassness of the oldschool Metallica logo.

Yeah. I like Nevermore logo. That's one of my favorite.

But this logo is awesome. I wish someone made lettering for every letter using this font...

Yeah, I love it... Personally, I fucking hate all these bands using that barbed-wire/blades/flames looking fonts for their uberhardcore bands.
