Well, like Paul Stanley said, you can love KISS or you can hate KISS. As I was a child, I was a KISS freak, I saw them on the Psycho Circus Tour in 1999 and it was the biggest moment in my life [(a 5 year old kid has a very short life, but you know what I mean Wink  ) Now the best moment is the Iron Maiden concert in 2007] I even had an pink plastic stratocaster  (Embarassed ) and I was doing something like a play back show in my fathers pub, every night for like 3 years. Then I kinda lost my interest for KISS. And now 10 years after that whole experience I give them heavy rotation again, and I think I'm gonna see them, when they come to Germany.

I get always angry if some posers think they just do "disco" music (because of I Was Made For Loving You) and think that they are gay because of the make-up and the whole costume thing. They have to listen to their 80s and 90s stuff (Lick It Up and Revenge are really great albums!)

So guys, what do you think about them?

Quote Paul Stanley: "If you hate KISS, it's o.k. If you love KISS it's even better. But there is nothing between these extremes"
(On the KISS X-treme Close Up is a similar quote)

I must admit, I'm a fan of some KISS songs. However, I'm not the biggest fan. Average band in my opinion.

I've been a huge fan of KISS since my childhood in the '70's. I saw them on the Animalize tour in the 80's, then their "farewell tour" don't remember when and a reunion tour with makeup and Peter and Ace back in. Of course now Peter and Ace are out, again, but oh well. I am still a big fan in fact they are one of my top five favorite bands ever, placing number 3 right after Iced Earth (most folks know the Cradle Of Filth is my number 1 fav).

I used to be a huge fan when I was a child, but I don't listen to them since a long time ... That's a great band at least !

I just have one vocabullary question : I don't know what "poser" mean, I don't have a very good english and the few translations I found for this word don't mean anything ...

poser is a very general term. but the assault on posers is a staple to most bands.

Poser: Lover of False Metal, wears Metal T shirts thinking they are cool and not knowing anything about the given band.
A fair weather fan, will love the band when its popular to only to move on to the newest trend and then have nothing but hatred to the thought of even liking them.

KISS are alright. Ive never really given the time of day, but I liked what Ive heard and what Iced Earth has covered.

It is a great song, of course not their best, but I don't think they can ever achieve their best again, which was the make up years (except for Unmasked, not that great an album in my opinion).
