Yeah, everyone I know who smokes weed didn't graduate high school... so...
It's just the opposite for me, all my smoking buds and their friends (those I barely know) have either graduated from high school (which was a long time ago most of us are in our late 30's pushing 40) or graduated and went to college and STILL smoking weed with no addiction or problems in school (college) or work. At least 20 or so folks. Sure a small number when compared to everybody in the world but that is a LOT of pot smokers that have made something of themselves or at least graduated high school and had no problems because of weed amongst all I know.
I think it is NOT weed that causes the problem but the week willed folks. I am sure most of the ones who didn't graduate probably are easily coaxed into peer pressure situations. Anybody (well at least me and my friends) can easily deny or avoid peer pressure, it really was and is an easy thing to do even when we were teens. That's a problem because it is true that some folks are the negative stereotypes of pot heads, it is not all potheads. Just like ANY stereotype. ALL stereotypes do indeed exist, like blacks like chicken and watermeleon and steal, there are a lot of blacks that do fit that stereotype, but doesn't mean all do. To say it is a fact for blacks is wrong, it is only a fact for some, on the same token (no pun intended) it is wrong to say all potheads don't finish school are become lazy shits.
But I am not saying anything against anyone who doesn't smoke. It is your choice after all more power to you if you don't smoke. Just realize the so called facts of pot are mostly scare tactics and false. And yes some of your friends may indeed have been those but doesn't mean weed is bad.
Sorry for standing on my soap box about this, it's just I tend to defend my beliefs and whatnot. And I am not saying you are wrong, though it may seem so.
