A Question of Heaven should be on there, but just because it isn't dosen't mean it's total garbage. I enjoy.
So here is a question, why isn't it on there?

The three songs were omitted because the cameras they were using to film ran out and they needed to be changed.
I'm glad it's released, although, it should have been given a proper treatment. One of the many reasons I would never sign with Century Media.

The only thing i don't like about this dvd, is the editing, the songs are not in the original order. And the songs Iced Earth and A Question Of Heaven are missing

Jon said that fans shouldn't buy the DVD since it does not live up to the standards of Iced Earth!

In the U.S., a shortened two CD version will be sold in stores due to cost restrictions. However, the full three CD version will still be available through Century Media mailorder. The band recommends all fans who want the original and complete version to order it rather than buying the two CD version.

I said the DVD, which was released after Iced Earth broke up with CM!
"Jon Schaffer has gone on record to say that he does NOT want the Iced Earth fans to buy or see this DVD. Jon feels that it does not meet the standards that he has set for Iced Earth therefore he didn’t release it."

I remember reading that Iced Earth played two different set lists on both nights they were in Athens. I always thought the DVD was one night, while the 3 CD version was another.

What I heard was it was a fuck up at the printing of the discs, they accidentally left it off the track list and they didn't want to redo the whole thing so they left it off.

I'm hoping for a few special DVD shows with big, epic setlists like Alive in Athens. And considering it's Jon, I believe that will be the case. I don't think he's going to pick and choose songs from past tours and shows.

i don't think the list will be like AIA. The set-list seems to be the same for every show or just slightly modified

Do you think at the time of AiA, that their setlist looked like that every night? I have bootlegs from around that time, and it's not even close. Those sets were special for the live album.
Jon has been talking about making the DVD a special thing for years now. He's not going to half-ass it and put a 16 song setlist on a DVD. I would certainly hope not anyway.

I did a Google search for some interviews with him, but I can't find the one where he mentioned it. What he said though was that he wanted to do it in New York. But I'd imagine the location for the DVD will change quite a few times.
