Amazon.com lists Revelation Abomination import for preorderhttp://www.amazon.com/Revelation-...ic&qid=1211844129&sr=1-23If you notice the release date is September, though this is for the import (no details on what it has on it) and they don't have a pre order for the US version. But oh well, just thought some folks might like to know. |

its old news, and it is no longer connected to Iced Earth.
Obviously since they had to make an EP to reintegrate barlow into Iced Earth instead. |

It's not old news to me, just saw it today, so its new news. But still I don't know what extras if any are going to be on the import. It's still an Iced Earth cd (I don't know what you mean by it's not connected to Iced Earth) the pre order at Amazon IS for the ICED EARTH cd (which is Something Wicked Part 2: Revelation Abomination). If I'm not mistaken they are almost finished if not already finished with the barlow vocals, so the September date is an actual possibility. Though I don't know what it says on the official IE site, havent checked. |

they were still in the writing process right now. Expect it in 09 rather than 08.
Revelation Abomination according to online audio interviews is no longer the working title of the album. He gave barlow some rights on 4 some odd songs for lyrical inspiration. |

You're talking about the pre order right? Even so it doesn't make it old news, just cause it's been out as news for a while doesn't make it old for everyone. I just saw the pre order yesterday, thus it was new news to me and I assumed it was a new thing otherwise I wouldn't have made a thread for it. It's like the moon landing, a possibility exists that some folks probably never knew about it and maybe are finding out for the first time that we landed on the moon in the 60's. So that makes it new news to them. But I digress. Sorry for going on a rant, I just get that a lot on other forums where I would mention something (cool or not doesn't matter) and than folks would be asshats and say "that's old news, no one cares" or some shit like that. It may be old news to them but not to me, and if someone posted something that they think is new news but I know it's old, I would be cool and post something like, "Yea, that is cool, I heard about it years ago though, so I already knew about it, but it still is cool" that is alot less assholish than "it's old news". But once again I digress. Anyway I couldn't find anything on the official IE site about when to expect the cd, so I don't know. Any future news I see will be NEW news to me.

sry man it wasn't intended to be an assholish comment. I was simply being lazy, without finding when this info was given out. as well as me giving a small amount of info concerning the album. Seeing as how the news was no longer true i was simply pointing it out. For your sake and others. |
