Best of the Stormrider trilogyWhich is your favorite song from the Stormrider trilogy? I'll have to go with Stormrider. I love Jon's vocals and the riffs in that song are just amazing. Everytime I listen to Stormrider I just get so fucking pumped, probably one of my favorite Iced Earth songs.
Path That I Choose is in second, then Angels Holocaust. I do love them both... but Stormrider beats them both.

The fuckin' riffs, the fuckin' amazing performance by Matt on Alive in Athens...makes this one better than the others....btw, all of them FUCKIN' RULES!
This trilogy is my favorite though

I honestly can't choose between Angels' Holocaust and Stormrider. I like them both so much I made a file that is both tracks together. My nickname in my band is Stormrider

I like (Not as much as Stormrider) but I didn't know that there are so many others that like it more than Stormrider and AH!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who calls these three songs the Stormrider Trilogy. Although the whole album is a concept, after hearing the three songs on Alive In Athens, I can't help but refer to it as a trilogy. My favorite is The Path I Choose, for the instrumental section. I love the way Larry speeds up the guitar solo on Stormrider too, but I'm sure Jon told him too...

Yes, I've always considered them a trilogy. Alive in Athens also helped me to come to that decision.

Actually there seem to be many people who refer to those songs as trilogy, as it seems only because IE used to play them live that way...
But apart from this there is no reason to call them a trilogy as the entire album tells one story, isn't it? Please tell me, if Jon or any other member of IE told sth different^^ (I am not trying to offend anybody, this is a serious question of mine)
Anyways, I like The Path I Chose best but they're all great.
