Some of those dates will make their way onto the long talked about DVD. “The DVD is part of our deal with SPV,” confirms the guitarist. “We’re kicking around ideas. We’ll be compiling footage, filming some of the festivals throughout the summer. ok here it guys, sry for the late reply but i got back at 2 am and then had school at 9 am which is an hour away with traffic.
it kicked ass of course 1. Sacred Flames 2. Behold the Wicked Child 3. Motivation of Man 4. Setian Massacre 5. Vengeance is Mine 5. 10,000 Strong (Barlow fucking nailed it on the intro) 6. Stormrider (1st time hearing it, kicked ass) 7. Watching Over Me 8. I Walk Alone 9. Hold At All Costs (fucking OWN3D!) 10. High Water Mark ^^^ 11. Come What May 12. Dracula ------------------- Meloncholy My Own Savior Iced Earth A few of these are out of order but i believe i have all the songs on it. Now from my personal review of the night. Ive long realized that Harpos is run by morons. They never open the doors on time. The sound guys never seem get anything right on the 3rd FUCKING CHECK! And last but certainly not the least, the addition of 3 local bands beforehand. First 1: Pantera meets hardcore....(go figure right?) as well as a dash of spoken word and even had a little RAtM in it *shudders* The lyrics in the last song "fuck it" were shit and made me lol. Second 1: Had a keyboardist, kinda a BDM or Abigal Willaims meets a bit thrash. The equipment wasn't all that great but they were at least better than the 1st. Third 1: These guys were thrash/speed, these guys should have been the only extra opener. And they were also fans of IE. Particularly NOTSR. Altogether the bands weren't complete shit like Harpos has made me and my friends sit through but all the same they should only have 1 local band join in if they MUST. Saviors opened and did well. Remind me of The Sword. Into Eternity of course kicked ass. Stu was a class act and a joker. He dealt with the delays the harpos strung along. No monitors for him, or even damn lights for a bit. For my first time seeing Into Eternity they fucking owned their set. My story of IE. It seems some1 taking care of the merch decided to display or wait to sell the VIP shirts, so Jon finds out and him and Freddie run out to collect them to take them out back. I was able to talk to Freddie for just a short while. Pretty much saying he kicked ass in Chicago. shook his hand then even shook Jon Shaffer's hand. But no real talks or anything. But I could die more than semi-happy. what was interesting was that I wasn't able to have a VIP ticket due to them selling out while I was at work. But some dude named matt hooks me up with 1 FOR FREE!!! but alas i had school and the way things were going it was gonna be 2 am before IE would be able to get to me. I gave it back and told him to give it to some1 else. But I do have a guitar pick Jon Shaffer used.
