Cradle Of Filth new album already in the works

Paul has said that he really likes the new shit he is writing and says it is heavier than the last album (he seems to say that about every new album though so take that how you will). Dani has lyrics written and the rest are still coming soon. As far as I know (I haven't spoke with either of them in a while, I use to be able to chat with Paul and sometimes Dani every so often and sometimes on public chats but it was much cooler when it was just me and them, more personal that way) no song is complete yet and they are still writing more songs. The album should be out by Halloween 2010. No word yet on any special editions or whatnot.

I'm pretty sure many non COF fans won't be exited for this album. I really only posted this to inform the fans of COF such as myself. I really don't know if any fans are on this forum. I myself totally dig both COF and IE. Very Happy

Alot of ex COF fans say that.  Alot of them really hate their music now like ex Metallica fans that started disliking since Load than the final nail in the coffin called St Anger. Though each of their albums do have good songs (at least one anyway) on them, they are still sucktastic according to a lot of ex Metallica fans. Same with COF, lots of ex fans still think they suck since Nymphetamine was released. I personally don't think so (about COF anyway), they are still my favorite band (IE is too!). So long as they don't put out a St Anger I will still be a big fan. Not saying it won't happen but still.

I actually don't think it will, at least not yet. No one is going to make a St. Anger like album... no ones that stupid. lol

I don't know, I got worried when COF released Thornography but I ended up liking it, same with the last album Godspeed On The Devil's Thunder. But COF have done a few stupid things in their career. Like constantly saying the new albums will be the heaviest yet but they end up not being so. Going thru so many different members. Rosie just recently "left" the band and was replaced by the Abigal Williams keyboardist, she is not in that band anymore.

Charles has become a touring guitarist and does not play on the upcoming album. The only mainstays are Paul and Dani (and even Paul left the band at one point), even Sarah is no longer with them (but she is doing her solo stuff now, she may still tour and appear on the new album but from what I am hearing she probably wont).

I liked st anger...

It seems that the experimental days of Cradle have ended Very Happy
First, the Line Up becomes more and more stable:
Dani, Paul and Dave are "mainstays" and James McIllroy (the guitarist from the Nymphetamine period) is back too. Except Martin (who does a really good job!) and Ashley, it's the Nymphetamine lineup Very Happy
To the album: They said once again it will be their heaviest, but this time it is indeed!  Shocked  The first 4 songs are just brütal, no other words can describe it. Of course there are mid-tempo songs in the vein of Death Of Love, like The Persecution Song, or the Featus Of A New Day Kicking like song, Forgive Me Father (I Have Sinned). For me it sounds somehow like a mixture of all the previous albums, especially Dusk, Cruelty, Damnation and Godspeed.
I'm really excited about this album and I think it's much better than Dimmus Abrahadabra

I agree, Paul said it would be heavier and sure enough it is. No instrumental interludes either (Unless you count the song Adest Rosa Secreta Eros, but that is only on the Fan Edition). I ordered the fan edition hadn't got it yet, but I have heard the regular edition and totally dig it! It is better than Dimmu not that that album is bad.
