Desert Rain vs. Pure EvilTwo great songs from a near perfect album. The question is, which song do you think is better? I'd have to go with Pure Evil. Even though Desert Rain is damn good and I love the duel vocals, Pure Evil is just better overall. Your thoughts?

pure evil is just too amazing, though desert rain is cool too, i never found the epicness in it other than the "breakdowned intro part"

Dude this one is tough!
The lyrics in Desert Rain aren't as good as in Pure Evil but with both Jon and Matt singing it sounds so cool!
I think Desert Rain is the thrashiest one and Pure Evil is more Powerish...
But overall i think Pure Evil is the better one!

Yes, Pure Evil isn't boring. On Alive in Athens it's one of the best songs performed on there.

Actually, between Desert Rain and Pure Evil on AiA, I choose Desert Rain.
But that's only because call-answer type of singing.

The Desert Rain's chorus is just amazing : when I listen to this song, I feel the pouring iced rain falling on my face in the hot night. Definitly Desert Rain
