2009 is for 2 reasons a great year:
Maiden will do another album (\m/)
And probably the new Demons & Wizards (Live-)Album + tour
And maybe a new Blind Guardian album (I think the Lord Of The Rings Opera thing)
So 2009 will be great

Jon said that he is working on a side project but that it isn't Demons & Wizards.
I would doubt that he will do 1 tour with Iced Earth, 1 tour with Demons & Wizards and another side project album.

Blind Guardian needs to release a Sacred single or EP with some new stuff.
The Lord of the Rings is basically a Hansi side project but like Toni Iommi he will have to use the BG name to release it.

You forgot Alestorm with their Leviathan E.P. (Yeah I know it's not a long player, but Alestorm kicks ass )
The Helloween and Grave Digger albums are the ones I wait the most (the Grave Digger one comes out at Jan 9, so I don't have to wait long )

Yeah, Alestorm are pretty cool, for sure something to check out!
and for me it's only 2 days until the new Grave Digger album is released! Already pre-order it so I hope I will get it on the release day.
