My name is Russ (obviously, LOL)...could't think of a clever user name so I'll just post under my name...
Anyway, I'm an amatuer guitarist who is HEAVILY influenced by Jon Schaffer. The first song I heard by I.E. was "Melancholy" and I was bown away. It wasn't anything like I had previously heard before...and well, to make a long story short, I've been a HUGE Iced Earth fan ever since and plan on seeing them live when they come to Portland, Oregon this fall.
Anyway, I look forward to chatting with you guys about the best metal band in the world...ICED EARTH!!!
