HelloweenWhat do you think about this band? IMO one of the best bands, not only German bands, but generally. I think The Time Of The Oath is their best album but Keeper I and II are metal-classics, which were the foundation of European Power Metal and Speed Metal.

Keepers 1 & 2 are awesome!
Walls of Jericho is highly underrated.
and the best Deris albums IMO is Better Than Raw, and The Dark Ride

Pretty cool band, was among my favourite bands 2 years ago. Seen them 3 times live and i've got a couple of vinyls and a couple of cd's of them. Nowadays it's quite rare that I listen to them though, but maybe I should someday take a Helloween special and listen to the albums i've got.
Their first EP is for sure the best they have done. But as for full-lenght albums I say Better than Raw or Keeper I.

"Walls of Jericho" is still thier best album  . I own all of them, although I must say I don't like all of thier material. Most of it's just hit and miss, exept for theoriginal. I't amazing.

they are great ! My favourite album is Keeper Of The Seven Keys Part II but The Dark Ride has got kickass song too ... Walls of Jericho is amazing too (I like so much Hansen's voice)

What can I say, beside that I fucking love Helloween, especially the Kiske-era.
Favorite albums are Keeper 1, 2, The Legacy and The Dark Ride.
And Pink Bubbles Go Ape is very, very underrated.

But "Heavy Metal Hamsters" is on Pink Bubbles Go Ape.

Some things are left undone for our heavy metal hamsters.
But seriously I totally dig Helloween, one of my all time favorites. Yes these two albums were there low points but they really weren't all that bad. Every bad has low albums some are ALL bad some are only part bad. Metallica for example has a couple of low point albums only one of which is ALL bad that being St Anger. Other wise they have good and bad songs on the "bad" albums (both Helloween and Metallica that is), in my opinion.

Wonder if they were listening to the Chipmunks when they wrote it, maybe they didn't want to plagiarize so they made them hamsters instead of munks. I have no idea. Either way they must have been wasted or really drunk.
