How do you pronounce Kursch?I know Hansi is pronounced "Hahn-see", but how the hell do you say Kursch? Is it "kursh"? "kurch"? "koorch"? How do you say it?!?!?!?!

If I remember correctly from my many German classes, it's pronounced "Koorsh, Kewresh". Anybody fluent in German wanna confirm this? I know I'm probably horribly wrong.

well actually his name is KÜRSCH not Kursch, and you pronounce it like it is written, but you have to role the "r" a little bit, cause it is german and we spell vocals like "k", "r", "s", and stuff harder than you guys do....

Right I knew that it was kÜrsch, I just didn't know how to get the umalat over the u. Now that you did it, woo!
so it's like, "koorrsh"? The reason why I'm asking is because I'm trying to get the name pronunciation down right for the IE interview, I'm asking about D&W and I wanna be able to pronounce it right. I didn't know until recently Jon's last name was pronounced "Shay-fer", I thought it was "Shah-fer".

Yep it's origin from some German surname.
It means "to manage something" or something similar.
