Sorry for this, but in German metal forums, the most think that Framing Armageddon suck, because they want complicated songs like Travel In Stygian, Dante's Inferno or Pure Evil. So the most think that The Crucible Of Man will suck too. They want something like Night Of The Stormrider II or Burnt Offerings II, but there doesn't exist a band which will release something like their classics. Judas Priest will not make Painkiller II, In Flames will not make Clayman II and Metallica will not make Ride The Lightning II or Master Of Puppets II

I already have the money for the album... lol.....

I'm caged in a fucking little boring racsist country called Switzerland. Fascism is everywhere (I'm not touched by these disease, hopefuly). But we'll get this album first It's a very very good news

Thats what I don't get. Framing Armageddon had some good stuff on it.
In terms of classic IE, Id say Something Wicked Part 1, and Framing Armageddon were what IE has done. SWP1 had that fucking sweet intro and the title track was like Coming Curse meets Violate.
Everything else was closer to mid-tempo work- branching out to new stuff.
Besides, the ignorant answer is that BARLOWS BACK! OMFG! ITLL ALL BE DIFFERENT NOW!!!
in that case yes. There will be differences.
1. Shaffer said before it would be darker and heavier even before Part 1 was released...dark & heavy = classic IE.
2. Barlow accents the base and drums, meaning Shaffer can do whatever he wants on his guitar and it will sound sweet
3. Jon seems to take what European fans say to heart. Meaning while it won't be NOTSR, itll be a step up in intricacy.
4. If Iced Earth released it as unplugged ballads with cheezy 80's keyboard work (think whitesnake style) id buy it.

I really hope this album will be heavy and close to classic IE!
