In Times Like These, Are You Not Listening to IE?When the band isn't doing anything, do you stop listening to IE? Or at least less than usual?

I'm hearing Diary right now, so actually no, I do not stop listening IE, cause I love their music, no matter if they do anything at the moment or not

Actually I listen to them all the time, but the last days I'm hearing almost only Blind Guardian especially Tales From The Twillight World and Nightfall In Middle-Earth (these two were the albums I liked the least, now I'm wondering why? )

I don't know about the rest, but for me, this is not true.
Ok, I do not listen to IE that often these days, that is correct, but it has nothing to do with the band being inactive. I am just on a trip for some other stuff, but don't worry, that won't hold on

I listen to them less then before, but that's because the good albums aren't on Spotify yet!

Don't you own the albums yourself?!
But yeah I still listen to them, mainly in work because I can put my iPod on. Most of the time i just leave it on shuffle though.

I seem to catch myself listening to there new album more than any other of them. I'm not really sure why, but I am.

cause after a time listening to it, I'm really eager to hear it again and again, thats the reason I'm listening to it more often than the others

I don't listen to Iced Earth as much as I used to, but that's because lately I've been getting really deep into thrash metal. Sodom, Annihilator, Evile, Heathen, OverKill, Dark Angel.....The list goes on and on. But I still listen to Iced Earth from time to time; in fact the other day I had a 2 hour binge on Iced Earth!
So the answer to your question is...yes and no.

Yeah, I also don't listen to them so much, but that's only because I'm in death metal/industrial metal phase
But from time to time, I just have to hear song or two ^^

To me it doesn´t matter if there´s a new album out or not, I still listen to Iced Earth. Sometimes more and sometimes less, but I always listen to a few tunes.
Okay, for the last week I didn´t listen to them that much, but that´s because I´m so much into the new Rammstein album right now.

well, I been listening to 'When the Night falls' today, the live version in Athens, and I really don't give a damn, if they are active or not, Iced Earth kicks ass anytime I hear it, and it does not depend if they are on tour, or working on an album or something, its just when I want to hear IE, I do it, point....

I've just been listening to the "owens era" lately... I'm not really sure why but that's mostly what I've been listening to.

When people recommend something to me, I download it and listen to it... but i always add some IE, just in case I don't like the new stuff I'm listening to
So, it's kinda like my lifesaver or earsaver?

I actually listen to them more now than i used to. Thanks to the mini lp rerelease of the albums, they've been much easier to find, so i don't need to order them. I think that the first two albums are easily my favourites of all time, although I'm beginning to feel as much love for Burnt Offerings and The Dark Saga. There are very few bands whose output i like to this level, and it's constantly consistent because they're just so much better than any other band in their genre. I've tried listening to countless thrash and power metal bands, and even a few black metal, and while they all have hints, they can't come close to IE.
The Something Wicked albums hinted at a return to form and it might be achieved with their next album, especially with Barlow back. I look forward to seeing them live as soon as possible.
