King Diamond/Mercyful FateWTF?? you gotta be kidding me....no one started a thread about king until now? wow....im shocked. so any king fans here? mercyful fate fans? who do you like better?

I was actually never much of a King fan. His voice annoys me a little bit. That being said, I do like a few Mercyful Fate tunes.

I have much love for King Diamond. Mercyful Fate is good, but not a personal favorite.
The Fatal Portrait and The Puppet Master are my favorite KD albums

As I said in a different forum, The Fatal Portrait was my first Diamond album, The Puppet master was my second. Abigail was my third, I named my bass after the album

King Diamond rules. My favorite albums are Conspiracy and The Eye although House Of God is also very good.
From Mercyful Fate I only got Don't Break The Oath. I wouldn't say that I listen to it very often, although it has some good songs.

always liked Mercyful Fate and KD. Wish I could see at least 1 of them live but KD and his herniated disc are still causing problems. =(

One of the best songwriters in metal, not to mention one of the best singers in the world. "Them" is one of the best albums ever created in my opinion. Every aspect of that album is perfect. "The Puppet Master" is another on of my favorites. However his newest effort "Give Me Your Soul" was a big dissapointment. His only bad album.
