Larry TarnowskiBeen watching the Alive in Athens video a lot and came to theconclusion that Larry Tarnowski is a fine lead guitarist. Puts in some amazing solos in those shows. Not only that but he was on Horror Show - although not pictured in the inlay?Anybody know why he left the band? Good luck to him. |

In the end the best guitarist Jon has had is Jim Morris XD. But I find myself enjoying what the Randal Shawver era had alot. Tarnowski had some great stuff too. Like Blessed Are You, style is completely different from the Shawver era.
But in the end, who in the end actually came up with the solos? was it Shawver, Tarnowski or Jim Morris behind the scenes like he has been known to have done for many Iced Earth recordings ? |

Dave Murray and Steve Harris are (almost) always singing without a mic! Maybe he had a terrible voice and cause of that he didn't sang with a mic 
But Larry is my favorite IE lead guitarist (then Randy and then Troy) and I hope his instrumental band Titan will get signed. Good Luck Larry

i never liked him,
ever since i saw him on AIA it jus kinda didn't like his image, it's like all white trashy and shit. he may have been a good guitarist but he didn't fit in with the rest of the band, musically and personality. |

if i remember right the bassist and Brent were shirtless. eventually matt was, Jon had cloths on. So basically to be like every1 else hed have to be shirtless.

Look the part? Its metal. Unless they are wearing a shirt saying Metal is for stupid barbarians then they wouldn't fit the part. I don't expect every1 to bust out the leather or viking armor. I expect performance. |

If you can don it. thats cool, in a theatrical sense its good. Alice Cooper's style demands costumes and props. Calling a Black Metal band posers because they don't wear the panda bear makeup is downright annoying. lol usually those bands are better. |
