Mortification is an Australian Christian death metal band. Now I know that is an extreme turn off to most metalheads, but trust me - these guys have fucking talent Their sound is comparable to bands such as Death, Immolation, and Kataklysm. Me being a Christian, this band is an inspiration to me.

musically its good.
But I am sorry Ive yet to understand the idea of trying to sound evil and be a christian metal band.
Stryper is the only band so far that I can see do it right.

I can understand your reasoning. I don't think what they're trying to do is sound "evil", I just think they're legitimate Christians playing death metal. But that's just how I look at it.
And about the Stryper comment - you are correct. They were technically the first Christian metal band, anyway

well, the music is very good, and I think their is a lot of talent...
but I don't identify with White Metal, I actually don't like the ideas of it at all. I'm Christian myself, but I like Metal cause it has NOTHING to do with it, and its message is its own. I don't like the two things combined...
I'm sorry Set, I mean no offence, you know I accept every believing, christian or others, but I for myself have turned away from it long ago...

No need for apologies guys, I'm comfortable talking about what I believe in. I wouldn't get offensive to anyone posting anything dissing my religion at all. I would suspect you guys are mature enough to talk about your beliefs as well.

I, too, turned away from it years ago. I've recently had a change of heart, honestly. You may not believe me, but I've felt God working at my heart. Last week I threw away all of my black metal for the same reasons, just that I'm walking the other way
