something wicked box set?I've heard rumors of a sw box set being released with a redone f.a w/ barlow on vox. Can anybody confirm this rumour?Hope the rumour is true, nothing against rippers vox on the album, loved it, but it'd be sweet to have an awesome box to hold all the albums and maybe the singles as well. That and I could always go for more iced earth cd's, christ, I wouldn't mind a remade glorious burden while he's at it! |

Yes, Jon confirmed it in the recent press conference. He said it may have a book and artwork with it too, and it will have 4 additional pieces of music on it. | ||||

In the interview Jon said (not an exact quote mind you, I didn't go back to confirm) "Not that we are trying to erase what Tim did, he is a great vocalist, it's just that it makes more sense to tell a story with the SAME narrator." Something like that. |

makes sense, in fact i thought that would happen. but some ppl want Barlow to re-sing the album for the reason they didn't like ripper or didn't even give him a chance. | ||||

Well I know this rumors too, and they are no rumors...
I've talked with some guys on the Blind Guardian Forum, and they say the same, there will be a box with some kick ass suprises! I just want to know, if it will come in september like the album, or afterwards.... it would be cool, if I could buy the box, and not have to by the cd and than the whole box. But I will buy the thing, come what may 
Another question guys, wasn't there a saying about a new DvD coming out, you the one, Iced Earth needed a baseplayer for? I'm very interested in that task, so maybe, if some of you know something about it, let me know!! |

Jon said everything we know about the Box-set on an press-conf in Athens! The DVD will probably be a live DVD! And i have no idea about that bassplayer task, they've got Freddie so that's probably only rumors or old news! |

well I know, it IS a old rumor you know, before Freddie came they searched for a baseplayer on the IE side, and they also said that he will be on a live DVD too, so that is what got me, after that I didn't heard anything for a while, but now that you are saying it, I remember a interview with John..... well thanks dude!!! |
