Stormrider Live Bonus Track

I just wonder if anyone knows where (and when) the live version of Stormrider (bonus track from slave to the dark set) is recorded?
Maybe written somewhere, but I'm lazy!

Well  the Waken Open Air Festival was in August 7th-8th 1998. Iced Earth played on the Saturday August 8th show on the Main Stage with Blind Guardian playing afterwards. Gamma Ray, Savatage and  Lacuna Coil (among a shitload of others) played that night too. As a matter of fact there were a lot of awesome bands those two nights, my Favorite band is Cradle Of Filth of course, they played the Main Stage on the 7th along with Doro and others.

every live cut ive seen of stormrider it sounds the same. meaning jon proffesionally pulls this song off well each time. the only thing that may be different if the crowd jumps in on the chorus. that would be good

Yes that is true makes me wonder why Century Media chose to put that extra track on Night Of The Stormrider for the Slave To The Dark Set. Though I think it is cause they already have 3 bonus tracks on the Something Wicked album. Oh well, either way it's still kick ass.

The bonus tracks on the Something Wicked This Way Comes album in the Slave To The Dark Box set are. "Shooting Star", "Electric Funeral (Black Sabbath Cover)" and "The Ripper (Judas Priest Cover)" all three are already available on the Meloncholy EP.

Damn. Last week i bought "Enter The Realm Of The Gods" and the package was awesome, the cd's look like mini lp's Very Happy ...but if there's nothing new on SWTWC re-release, them im not gonna buy it. I have the Melancholy EP (of course)

If you want extra things then you should buy "Burnt Offerings" from the Slave to the Dark box!
It contains a special extra CD with a rough mix of all the songs.

The Burnt Offerings and Dark Saga discs from the Slave set are the only things that have extras not already (or easily) available to get anywhere else. Fortunately they are selling them individually so you don't have to buy the box set.
Burnt Offerings 2 Disc Set from Slave To The Dark:
Disc 1 (Original CD, Possibly the Remastered one that came in the Dark Genesis Box Set a few years back)
Disc 2 (Alternate Mix of entire album)

The Dark Saga:
Contains all the songs on the original release and two bonus unreleased songs Hellspawn Mix 1 and Hellspawn Mix 2 (which are actually alt mixes of The Dark Saga song)

The alternate "rough" mix of Burnt Offerings are the best mix-thing that I've ever heard!
I don't find the Hellspawn songs so great though.

I got mine off Amazon, they got assloads of them. I'm still waiting for it to arrive though -.-
