The Puppet Masters in The Emerald City

So, last night, I got to see the puppet masters in Seattle.

That's right. I saw METALLICA.

My friend Dale and I left around 5:00, since the show started at 7:00 and we wanted to try to avoid traffic. We arrived at 6:10, ate some thai food, and went to the venue.

First up was The Sword - a doom metal band that is actually very good. They played a pretty good show. Some of my favorites were Barael's Blade, Winter's Wolves, The Frost-Giant's Daughter, How Heavy This Axe, and Fire Lances of the Ancient Hyperzephyrians.

After The Sword was Lamb of God. We were in line for a shirt. That line took up all of LoG's time, so I didn't get to see them. Ah well, at least I got to see who I came to see, right?!

Next was Metallica.....we had to wait about a half hour before the main event started. As soon as the clock struck 9:00, James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett, and Rob Trujillo came out onto the stage and started to rock. Here's the set list.

The Ecstasy of Gold
That Was Just Your Life
The End of the Line
Creeping Death
Harvester of Sorrow
One
Broken, Beat & Scarred
Cyanide
Sad But True
Welcome Home [Sanitarium]
Wherever I May Roam
The Day That Never Comes
Master of Puppets
Blackened
Nothing Else Matters
Enter Sandman
ENCORE
Die, Die My Darling [Misfits cover]
Motorbreath
Seek and Destroy

After the last song, Rob came by and threw about 7 picks; I got one [pictured below]

Feaněs

I've seen them 4 times now, and Hell I'm so excited about seeing them in Vienna in May, I already got the Tickets...

The new songs kick ass live, ya know I saw them at the Album Release Party in Berlin.,... just awsome.
Sandra - Dark Saga -

I like Metallica, but I feel kinda disappointed... IDK, Lars gets tired way too soon, and James' voice is not nice anymore   Sad  IMO
Tainted Innocence

i think that if they start touring again that they'll get back into shape...

they're a good ol'standby as far as heavy metal/thrash goes.
