well to make it short, he said something like, when he has a riff, and a song, but he hasn't got a voice for it in his mind, he takes it as a D&W song. So we all know that Schaffer is planing every song in his head, and if he has no good vocals for it, he asks Hansi to work with him and make them complete, that is how it works.

No, that is generally what he said. I remember reading somewhere (not sure if it's 100% accurate) that Down Where I Am was pretty much the birth child, first born, first version, alpha, brain child etc... of The Clouding. Jon said The Clouding was one of the songs he had in his head at all times (rift wise, he creates the lyrics later), so I guess Down Where I Am was the first draft of The Clouding, but he didn't like it enough to keep it with IE, thus making a new rift. Jon including The Clouding on I Walk Among You further backs his liking of The Clouding.
