Last night (about 1am) coming home from work. I was listening to Demons and Wizards. I pulled into 7-11 with the song Blood on my Hands playing. Apparantly I had it playing really loud  . This kid and his girl friend were standing outside the store opening up pack of cigarettes and throwing away the paper in trash. (blah, blah , blah.) Anyway the kid asked me what I was listening to he said it sounded awesome . I began telling him who it was and that it was IE and Blind Guardian working together. As I was telling him about IE I rifled through the cd's I had in the car I found a cd that I burned with some IE songs on it. Played Angels Holocaust for him and his girl. He was pumped ( his girl wasn't so excited though.  Bitch ) He said he really wasn't into metal but these guys (IE) sound sweet. I gave him the CD and told him welcome to metal. I also told him about Minions of the Watch.
The IE army just grew by one last night.
Message to kid at 7-11 if you are here let me know cause I forgot to ask your name. Oh yeah I was kidding about your girl being a bitch.

lol, that wouldn't have been the 7-11 in Howell at the Grand River/M-59 intersection?
lets face it, alot of chicks in Michigan are oblivious to metal and seem to think its disgusting....

I remember me and my friend we're in mall and we went into this lame store with stereos, and I had just bought the new Priest album. Played it and some guy came up to us and asked if we needed anything, we said we we're just listening to Judas Priest and he said he had never heard of them.
I was like :O

i have a few friends like that (as in i got them to start listening to IE or other powermetal bands) but they aren't too serious about it...

I figure that the number of people I've turned onto IE has got to be around 15 or so. I find it amazing on how many people (in my hometown) have not heard of them. Probably cause the radio stations around here suck ass. I haven't listen to the radio in my car for about 6 months. Too much mainstream crap. I have never heard an IE song on the radio. They do play metallica , Maiden, Sabbath and Megadeth and other metal but that is it. We even called them one night to request IE. The idiot DJ said he never heard of them.

Lucky you ! I haven't heard of metal in every radio I used to listen to (I don't listen radio anymore, the music that they play has not any interest). I just saw one time on TV, on a popular music canal, Megadeth and Iron Maiden, that's all ....

I know that The Reckoning has been played on MTV's "headbangers ball"
And i think that I heard Watching Over Me (AiA) on some kind of TV thingy!
But no radio in Sweden plays any good metal!
