| well, I been listening to 'When the Night falls' today, the live version in Athens, and I really don't give a damn, if they are active or not, Iced Earth kicks ass anytime I hear it, and it does not depend if they are on tour, or working on an album or something, its just when I want to hear IE, I do it, point.... |

| I've just been listening to the "owens era" lately... I'm not really sure why but that's mostly what I've been listening to. |

When people recommend something to me, I download it and listen to it... but i always add some IE, just in case I don't like the new stuff I'm listening to
So, it's kinda like my lifesaver or earsaver? |

I actually listen to them more now than i used to. Thanks to the mini lp rerelease of the albums, they've been much easier to find, so i don't need to order them. I think that the first two albums are easily my favourites of all time, although I'm beginning to feel as much love for Burnt Offerings and The Dark Saga. There are very few bands whose output i like to this level, and it's constantly consistent because they're just so much better than any other band in their genre. I've tried listening to countless thrash and power metal bands, and even a few black metal, and while they all have hints, they can't come close to IE.
The Something Wicked albums hinted at a return to form and it might be achieved with their next album, especially with Barlow back. I look forward to seeing them live as soon as possible.
