Hello
Hello all.
I'm new here but not new to Iced Earth.
I have been a fan since Night of the Stormrider. Just looking to connect with other fans.
Live in Ancient Kourion
What do you guys think of the most recent live record? I know it get's compared to Alive in Athens a lot but honestly I think it's amazing. Stu Block really holds his own on just about every song.
Plagues Of Babylon
Let's get this forum going again! Here we talk about Iced Earth's latest masterpiece, Plagues Of Babylon!
Hey yo.
Ahoy all! I've owned a copy of Iced Earth's Glorious Burden for a few years but didn't really give it many listens. However, in the past few months something happened and not only have I repeatedly listened to that album, but I've also picked up copies of nearly everything else the band has done. I am a certified fan now. I saw there was a link for this forum off the official Iced Earth page, and thus here I am!
Thiary
but most of you do not I think.
so you know, I was playing in another band before and I quitted a year ago. since that I tried finding a band that I can connect to and that fits my way as a musician.
1/2 year ago I finally found it and the name of the band is: Thiary.
so if you like, check out our band page and tell me your opinion about our songs:

every1 knows how to play.

but its not vocally traded off between singer, and guitarist/singer.
so basically its missing that which greatly affects the songs atmosphere, followed by the singer trying to hit the high notes only to keep it monotone to keep his voice from cracking.
Sabaton Carolus Rex Album review-The Metal Voice
I choose Rime Of The Ancient Mariner because to me it is more "epic" than the other two choices. The slow down interlude in the middle or close to the middle where ever, is just hypnotic to me. I mean when I listen to that song compared to the others I can actually envision the story like I am watching a movie.
