| Do you think it's ok for stores like FYE or Sam Goody to buy and sell used cd's thus taking away profits for the bands? |

So several music stores buy and sell used cd's. Of course bands don't get money off these kind of sales. Do you think it's right, do you participate in this sort of deal (I gotta be honest and say yes I have bought some and sold in this way before as well as on ebay for albums that are NOT out of print and NOT hard to find, just for the cheapness of it)?

remember that bands get little to no royalties for the cd. the record gets the most.
besides the band should be happy that they are making fans, if i had a chance if i bought a used cd of a band i really liked depending on the condition, i would buy a new copy later.
wanna support the band? buy a ticket. buy their merch, and tell others about them.
I have bought a used Trash Cd (Alice Cooper) as well as I have bought some used vinyls. I probably have bought more but i can't remember off the top of my head. _________________

i also have heard that the bands get little money for albums also,
but either way used CD's are still exspensive.
like at this one store here : new cd (average) $15-$17 used cd (average) $9-$10. _________________ Lies, the human core is lies. |

I pretty much buy all CDs from the internet!
But I don't like stores buying used CDs.
There is one store that even sell burnt cds! _________________ c. 5502 BE (6 BC) - Jesus of Nazareth was born. --~?~--- |
