Very interesting. Check this out:

Jon reveals that SPV is in trouble, and they are probably going to look for a new label soon. And because of that, the Something Wicked box set will probably never see the light of day Sad

It's not old news to me cause I never heard about it til just now, so it's new news. But besides that, that does suck if the box set never sees the light, hopefully SPV can sell the rights or something to another label that can put out the set.

SPV is going bankrupt, well, they did have a good run. Many great bands have been under the label. I do wonder what Schaffer plans on doing, with the record company thing. I'm curious to see where he goes, back to Century Media! Laughing

I knew about this but it annoys me. That means bands like Helloween, Whitesnake, Saxon, IE,  and Kreator have to label hunt.

IE should go to Nuclear Blast

I'm sure they'd take them.

don't be too sure on that. Century Media and Nuclear Blast distribute either of their signed bands.

This connection may make Jon disapprove of working with NB.

Then again, almost EVERY label uses Century Media has and may continue to use as a Distro.
